A Trip to the Warehouse
Last week we welcomed Arts Council England to our warehouse for a visit to see the latest developments at The Auxiliary. The visit marked a key moment for us as we shared progress on our capital redevelopment project, funded through DCMS’s Cultural Development Fund and TVCA's Middlesbrough Development Corporation.
We gave ACE a tour of the space including a hint at what's to come for our studios, gallery and upcoming Auxiliary Garden.
The visit offered an opportunity to discuss our long-term ambitions for creative infrastructure in the region, our commitment to supporting artists at every stage of their career, and our ongoing work through Let's Create as part of the National Portfolio. We shared updates on our upcoming festivals SAW (27 Jun - 5 July) and MAW (26 Sep - 4 Oct).
