Teesside Dub Club Presents Sir Racha Sound System - 1 Year Anniversary party. For the first time in Middlesbrough, legendary dub producer KING AlPHA will be playing a special set.

Join us to explore the Irish tradition of making a Brigid’s Cross from fresh rushes. You will learn about the meaning and symbolism of the ritual and be guided through the process to make your own Brigid’s cross to take away.

Artist Cassie McGuire will lead the first 3 sessions, looking at insect environments, particularly bee habitats. We’ll be making bee hotels and bug houses. There will be an opportunity to learn sketching techniques - drawing bees in a variety of media. Attendees will also learn more about the plans for the Common Ground micro-farm and wider project.
