Arts Council England Funding Information Session

Join us for an informative session on how to secure funding from Arts Council England, taking place on July 13th at 1pm

Calling all artists and creatives. Want to know about applying for funding from Arts Council England but don’t know where to start? Need a jump start to get you going? We are hosting an advice session with Arts Council England at The Auxiliary Project Space. It’s an opportunity to find out more and ask questions about getting your application ready to submit. Whether you’re brand new to applying for funding, or wanting more specific advice, come along and find out more about the process. You might have questions like:

Which funding strand would be more suitable to what I’m doing?

How much can I apply for?

How many times can I apply?

The afternoon is in two sections. In the first section, relationship manager Ruth DeWhirst will break down two funding strands, National Lottery Projects Grants and Developing Your Creative Practice.

The second half will include an informal break out session about how we can support each other in writing our bids, what resources there are, etc. If you have a more developed idea and want more specific information on investment principles, budgeting, etc, Ruth will be available for a very limited number of one to one sessions on the day. Please email projectmanager@theauxiliary.co.uk if you would like to book a 20 minute slot.

Middlesbrough is one of 54 locations in England that has been named a Priority Place by the Arts Council. This means that the Arts Council recognises the need for increased investment and engagement with communities here, and so they are prioritising that in the period 2021 - 2024.
