Weekend Workshops

Broken Grey Wires delivered two brilliant workshops here at The Auxiliary in conversation with their exhibition, Two Plus Two Makes Four.

The first was a ‘walkshop’ led by Alisa Oleva whose projects have manifested as a series of interactive situations, performances, movement scores, personal and intimate encounters, parkour, ‘walkshops’, and audio walks. The activity here on Sunday explored the environment around The Auxiliary and Middlesbrough in playful and attentive ways through listening, walking, noticing, touching and sharing.

The second workshop of the weekend was a zine making session led by Lisa Lorenz, a publisher and graphic designer based in Manchester. We used zines as a tool to reflect on our experiences and how these relate to artwork seen in the exhibition here at The Auxiliary.

Two Plus Two Makes Four is open Thurs / Fri / Sat, 12-4pm until 24th March find out more here.
