This weekend a zine Making workshop with Lisa Lorenz of Team Trident Press was held here at The Auxiliary, delivered by Broken Grey Wires, one of two workshops that weekend that reflect on the current exhibition Two Plus Two Makes Four, now showing until 24th March find out more about the show here.
During the workshop zines were used as a tool to reflect on our own experiences and how these relate to artwork seen at the Broken Grey Wires exhibition. Discussed was the multi-faceted world of zines, and the transformative powers they can bring to your life and the whole of our societies.
The workshop was led by the brilliant Lisa Lorenz, a publisher and graphic designer based in Manchester, U.K. She has been running zine and risograph related workshops since 2017. Her work mainly focuses on mental health and creative writing.
